Pick your own Strawberries

Come and harvest strawberries directly from the strawberry, in a homemade and unique production, whose quality will not go unnoticed.

- Arrival to the farm and welcome by the producer
- Guided tour of the farm
- Practical production and nutrition workshop
- Harvesting experience
- Tasting of strawberries, liqueurs and sweets

Our producer

Our main objective is to produce and sell natural products of high quality and excellence. There are two strawberry ranges in production, both of which offer a guarantee of quality in taste, combined with the taste of the palate, which adds the visual taste through the superior shape and size for incorporation in professional preparation, restoration or in high quality confectionery. 

The Strawberries

Strawberry is a member of the Rosaceae (Rose) family and goes by the scientific name of Fragaria x ananassa. The letter "x" in its name indicates that strawberry is a of hybrid origin and, in the case of strawberry, of two different species. The origin of that hybridization is very interesting and involves a Pan American union that occurred in Europe. Our farmer use the camarosa strawberry, is an early short day variety that produces large to very large, firm, deep red fruit.

Benefits

Called "the queen of fruits", the health benefits of strawberries include improved eye care, proper brain function, relief from high blood pressure, arthritis, gout and various cardiovascular diseases. The impressive polyphenolic antioxidante content of strawberries make them good for improving the immune system, preventing against various types of cancers and for reducing the signs of premature aging.
