Last Tai Chi & QiGong class until 25th April - 1 month pause

The popular weekly Tai Chi & QiGong classes with Urbano will pause after Wed, 21st March for a month and restart on the 25th April. The reason: The diligent instructor Urbano is travelling to China with his Tai Chi master to dive more deeply into the Chinese culture. We wish him a terrific trip and look forward to even more inspiring morning classes every Wednesday & Friday from 8.30 to 9.45am.

=====
Tai Chi is a martial art and also a way of meditation in movement. This practice promotes the constructive and curative work of the vital energy and amplifies the effects of QiGong in health; QiGong – as part of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) – is a combination of physical, breathing, mental and spiritual exercises that are generating well being, vitality and tranquility.

The classes are meant, above all, as a way of sharing and promoting the collective and individual practice. In each session some important principles will be approached, such as breathing and postures, as well as several QiGong exercises such as the traditional Ba Duan Jin (Eight Treasures), Falun Gong and 18 Luohan hands and the Tai Chi 24 Form.

We usually start off with some silent meditation to make the subsequent practise more powerful.

The classes are held in Portuguese and/ or English.
