In order to promote Language Exchange, we teamed up with SPEAK ( https://www.facebook.com/wwwspeaksocial/ ) and have just the right event for you!
On saturday, march 24th, we will be hosting a Language Café!
Set up like 'speed dating', you will be tagged with all the languages you can speak, are learning or want to learn and will be assigned a table number on arrival, opposite a speaker who has two or more languages in common with you. You will speak to each other in one language of your choice for 5 minutes and then change to a different one. After the 10 minutes, one of you will move to the next table and start over.
Each person will have the opportunity to meet and share something they want with everyone that they have at least two languages in common with.
If you are learning a language, it is a great way to improve your skills in an organised and easy going manner. It is also great for networking and meeting new people.
We start signing people in at 5:00pm. Hopefully, everyone will be seated by 5:30pm and we will finish at around 8.00pm. Halfway through the session, we will have a quick coffee break for you to relax and warm up a little bit.

SUPER QUICK FAQ:
1 - Is it speed dating?
No. We use the speed dating system for the language exchanges, which means it is a one-to-one conversation. Nevertheless, its purpose is for you to put your language skills to practice.
2 - Is it FREE?
YES!
There is a registration form we will ask you to fill. Its purpose is just to have an idea of the languages you speak and the number of people we will have on the event.
3 - My level is not good, can I still participate?
Yes! The person opposite you is usually in the same situation as you. People come to help each other! So whether you are an absolute beginner or fluent in a language, you can participate.
4 - What do I need to talk about?
Whatever you want!
It is a very easy-going environment. We will also provide you with some conversation topics to help you out.
