Nesta exposição inaugural de 2018, a Reverso apresenta dois artistas que nunca perderam de vista a importância lúdica da jóia. Com trabalhos muito diferentes, Manuel Vilhena e Birgit Lake são dois joalheiros que se encontram na ideia de que os materiais contam histórias e que não devemos deixar de nos encantar com eles.
Estas são jóias que nos transportam a momentos mais simples da infância, em que víamos tudo com um olhar novo e um traço apenas bastava para soltar a imaginação. Com elas lembramos pequenos tesouros só nossos que guardámos há muito e agora reencontramos com um sorriso.

In this inaugural exhibition of 2018, Reverso Galery presents two artist that never lost sight of the importance of playfulness in Jewellery. Manuel Vilhena and Birgit Laken are jewelers that meet each other in the idea that materials tell a story and that we should never stop being charmed by them.
These are jewels that take us back to the simpler moments of childhood, when we could see everything with new eyes and a line would be enough the unleash the imagination. With them we remember our small treasures we hid a long time ago and find back now with a smile.
