MUSIC | VIDEO | PERFORMANCE

KINDRED is an audiovisual session that’s focused on improvisation where both music and visuals influence and bounce of each other. The improvised music, may bring out different electronic styles, with influences from ambient, glitch, techno and others genres. The music is programmed on machines without the use of computers. A mix of digital and analog hardware create a unique soundscape. Together with visuals and dance, the observer is taken on an audiovisual journey through space and time. The Visuals are created by mixing images from a motion sensing input device and making these audio reactive. Sometimes reduced to geometric forms, they merge into new patterns and colors. Often the newly created compositions reflect distorted worlds, that appear and morph into creatures which fly or crawl across the space the entire space becomes a textured surface for storytelling. In Improvisation, we look forward too interacting with all performers.
