The work of the Dutch visual artist Malou Cohen is always inspired by her daily surroundings. She is an observer, collecting all sorts of materials from the streets or simply writing down a special sentence from a random conversation.
As an artist, she tries to find the magic in the ordinary by asking herself the question “What could this be?”
When transforming her finds into new work, Malou will reveal the stories which were already hidden in there.
The whole month of January 2018 she explored the city of Lisbon as her main source of inspiration and now she presents us the city through her eyes.
