Alain Planès, L'infini Turbulent

O LEFFEST – Lisbon & Sintra Film Festival’17 apresentará, em sessão especial, Alain Planès, L’Infini Turbulent, um filme de Solrey, seguido de concerto de Alain Planès.

Pianista virtuoso, fascinado tanto pelo repertório clássico como pelo contemporâneo, apaixonado pela pintura e pela poesia, Alain Planès é a figura central de L’Infini Turbulent, um filme escrito e realizado pela violinista e cineasta Dominique Lemonnier, conhecida como Solrey. Retrato íntimo e humanista de um artista versátil, L’Infini Turbulent revela as fontes de inspiração e os encontros determinantes de uma vida (Miró, Boulez, Pressler, Serkin…), que se tece igualmente pelos laços e correspondências que a música convoca nas diferentes disciplinas que fascinam Alain Planès.   

A projecção será seguida de um recital de Alain Planès, que tocará Debussy e Beethoven.

A piano virtuoso, drawn as much to the classical as to the contemporary repertoires, passionate for painting and poetry, Alain Planès is the pivotal figure in Turbulent Infinity, a film written and directed by violinist and filmmaker Dominique Lemonnier, known as Solrey. An intimate and humanist portrait of a versatile artist, Turbulent Infinity reveals the sources of inspiration and the key encounters of a life (Miró, Boulez, Pressler, Serkin…), also woven with the ties and correspondences that music summons in the different disciplines that fascinate Alain Planès.   

The screening will be followed by an Alain Planès recital, who will play Debussy and Beethoven.
