Um dos maiores artistas do século XX, Paul Bowles contribuiu para a formação de um distintivo estilo americano de composição musical. O célebre autor, compositor e tradutor morreu em 1999, e desde então Irene Hermann, herdeira do legado musical de Bowles, e Carole Blankenship têm viajado pelo mundo a interpretar as suas obras.

Serão ainda exibidos os filmes "Night Waltz: The Music of Paul Bowles" (Owsley Brown, 1999), "​Paul Bowles: The cage door is alway open" ​(Daniel Young, 2012) e a curta-metragem "The pleasant feeling of being in a more innocent age: Paul​ ​Bowles's​ ​impressions​ ​on​ ​Portugal​​" ​(Pedro Cruz, Hermínia​ ​Sol,​ ​2010).

One of the greatest artists of the twentieth century, Paul Bowles contributed to the formation of a distinctive american style of musical composition. The celebrated author, composer and translator died in 1999, and since then Irene Hermann, heir to the musical legacy of Bowles, and Carole Blankenship have traveled the world to interpret their works.
