PROGRAMA DA SESSÃO Nesta sessão especial, Gidon Kremer, um dos mais distintos violinistas do mundo, apresenta um programa imperdível em torno da crise dos refugiados, composto por um concerto, uma leitura e um filme. Gidon Kremer irá tocar Preludes to a Lost Time (Imaginary Dialogues), uma reinvenção / interpretação de Preludes to a Lost Time de Mieczyslav Weinberg (transcritos do violoncelo para violino por Kremer), ao mesmo tempo que serão projectadas fotografias do fotógrafo lituano Antanas Sutkus. De seguida haverá uma leitura, pelo jornalista Luís Caetano, do texto As Suplicantes de Elfried Jelinek, que reflecte sobre a crise da imigração. A fechar esta sessão especial será projectado Images d'Orient, um filme de Gidon Kremer e Sandro Kancheli, em que as esculturas de seixos do escultor sírio Nizar Ali Badr, animadas por Kancheli, contam histórias do sofrimento do seu povo. // PROGRAMME In this special session, Gidon Kremer, one of the more distinguished violinists of the world, presents a remarkable program around the refugees' crisis, composed of a concert, a reading and a film. Gidon Kremer will perform Preludes to a Lost Time (Imaginary Dialogues), a personal reinvention / interpretation of Preludes to a Lost Time by Mieczyslav Weinberg (transcribed from cello to violin by Kremer), paired with projections of powerful photographs by Lithuanian photographer Antanas Sutkus. Afterwards, there will be a reading, by Portuguese journalist Luís Caetano, of Elfried Jelinek's The Supplicants, which reflects on the immigration crisis. Closing the evening, Images d'Orient, the film directed by Kremer and Sandro Kancheli, will be screened.
