Critical theory, theoretical-artistic research, and working in collective 21h30 > Encontro com Ana Vujanović no Ateneu Comercial do Porto Sendo uma trabalhadora da área da cultura vinda de Belgrado, onde o brutal contexto social do final da década de 1990 e início dos anos 2000 influenciou fortemente a minha própria existência, desenvolvi uma pulsão profunda nas artes e nas fortes preocupações sociais ao mesmo tempo. Como resultado, o meu trabalho é caracterizado pela prática de teoria crítica, pela realização de projetos de investigação teóricos e artísticos, e trabalho em diversas estruturas coletivas. Uma vez que eu acho que seja específico para mim e ao mesmo tempo típico do contexto de onde eu venho, acredito que seria interessante apresentar esse enquadramento publicamente, agora que eu trabalho na aquilo que é denominado como ‘cena internacional’. Ana Vujanović (Berlim / Belgrado) trabalha na área cultural – investigadora, escritora, dramaturga, activista – nas artes performativas e cultura contemporânea. Ela é membro do colectivo editorial da TkH [Walking Theory]. Ela é convidada para dar palestras em várias escolas em toda a Europa e atualmente é membro da equipa da SNDO Amsterdam. Ela participa como dramaturga em projetos artísticos dentro de vários contextos como performance, teatro, dança e vídeo/filme. As a result, my work is characterized by practicing critical theory, carrying out theoretical-artistic research projects, and working in various collective structures. Since I find it specific for me and at the same time typical of the context I come from, I believe it would be interesting to present that framework publicly, now that I work on so-called ‘international scene’. Ana Vujanović (Berlin / Belgrade) is a cultural worker – researcher, writer, dramaturge, activist – in contemporary performing arts and culture. She is a member of the editorial collective of TkH [Walking Theory]. She has lectured at various schools throughout Europe, and is currently a team member at SNDO Amsterdam. She participates as a dramaturge in art projects in the fields of performance, theatre, dance, and video/film. She has published a number of articles and four books, most recently Public Sphere by Performance, with B.
