Farmer for a Day by ESN Lisboa

Nowadays, modern agriculture is one of the biggest destroyers of our environment! The large use of water and chemical products leave a big footprint on our planet to produce large quantities of fruit and vegetables that are of low quality and not as nutritious than the one grown from traditional methods.

If you care about how what you eat affects the planet then this workshop is FOR YOU!!
Here you’ll learn all about biological agriculture, how it works and how it respects the environment, from a credited engineer and you’ll even have the chance to be a farmer for one day! In this workshop you get the chance to get your hands dirty and plant some vegetables, sounds fun right?!

So here goes some information about the event

Where?
This workshop is going to happen in the Pedagogical Farm of Lisbon, close to the metro station of Olivais. The address is Rua Cidade de Lobito, 1800-088 Lisboa

When?
It’s going to be on October 3rd.
The meeting point will be in the Olivais metro station (red line) at 13:30h

How much?
The greatest part is that this great experience is free!!! You just have to pay the metro trips if you don’t have the Lisbon pass. The trips are 2.80€, for both.

A melhor parte é que é uma actividade gratuita! Só pagarás as viagens de metro caso não tenha o passe. As viagens são €2,80 ida e vinda.
