Este bairro medieval é um dos bairros mais antigos da Europa.

Alfama é como uma pequena aldeia no meio da capital, e uma relíquia dos tempos anteriores ao grande terramoto de 1755. Escapou à catástrofe graças aos seus sólidos alicerces na colina mais alta da cidade, que se estende até ao bairro da Graça.
Nós iremos mostrar-vos tudo e finalmente ficarão a conhecer a história do Fado, a nossa música tradicional.
