Porto hosted the Red Bull Air Race from 2007 through to 2009. The race proved hugely popular with the fans who lined the Douro River to watch the competitors. The action returns to the banks of the Douro River on 2 and 3 September. The Porto Race is the sixth and third-last stage of the calendar this year.
