He is monikered by the name ‘Likkle Mystic’ Mystic, who was born on May 7th 1957 in Kingston, Jamaica spent most of his time growing up in the rural areas of Clarendon. At the age 10, he developed a keen interest in reggae music. While his peers where all aspiring the to be the next great singer; Mystic decided that he would pursue a career as a music producer. After being introduced to various musicians and band members from across the Island Mystic soon found himself as apart of a reggae group, performing covers at local events. Some of his musical influences are the Wailers, Slim Smith, Heptones, and King Stitch who has helped him to harness his own unique sound as an artist. In 2010, the band Raices Y Cultura from Panama heard his sound and liked it, giving him his first break with the track called Shotta . In the years to follow Mystic then released singles such as “Wanna Be Love”, “Armagideon War”, “Fire Pon Pension”, and “Be Wise” that are all classic pieces of Dancehall / Reggae music that has brought massive recognition for the artist through the Caribbean and Latin America respectively. The artist has performed at several Reggae oriented events such as: “Space of Sound Festival”(Madrid), “Anthony Bin Panama” and “International Reggae Fest” (Panaama). Mystic aims to uplift the lovers of Reggae music with true to life conscious lyrics. His unique blend of dancehall with the more traditional roots music enables the artist to be something of a mediator between the newer sounds of Dancehall that inspired hip hop and the older roots rock reggae styles. Mystic has being working in all aspects of the music business under the direction of “Ziggy Blacks Productions”. During 2013 the artist released of his debut album titled "SOLVATION". The album included singles such as: "Shoota", "Armageddon War", "Be Wise" and "Mi Dutty Friend" and also featured riddims from Master flex. “Solvation” was produced by "MYSTIC MUSIC International" for the “Ziggy Blacks Productions” label a true exquisite piece of music it was also mixed and mastered in Belgium by Mac Les Music Company. Upon releasing the album, Mystic completed his first tour of Europe in early 2014. His Music was well received in all places such as: The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and also Portugal, Norway, Spain and France Austria and more. The sounds of good music penetrating the minds and captivating the hearts of Europe's Reggae lovers. In April 2014 Likle Mystic arrived in Portugal through the intermediary of Rubera family and Mindel Reggae Familia, to present his work to the reggae lovers in Portugal. Mystic was very well received by Portuguese massive, always vibrated with a lot of energy during his shows. During his tour in Europe Mystic based in Portugal where he felt much identity and originality at the Rubera Records studio.Through the Rubera Family, Almigthy Records and Mindel Reggae, Mystic initiated his first tour in Africa, going through countries like Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Gambia, Senegal and he always felt very well received and cherished by reggae lovers in Africa. in late 2014 Likle Mystic after the release of the single “Born To Lose” with Ziggy Blacks and Rubera Records, Mystic started the recording of his next album entitled "Straigth Talkin " in the studio Rubera Records that will be released in 2017 at digital platforms and also on CD and Vynil. This album means a new stage in the Mystic´s music , like a rescue of a Bantu warrior, mystic brings a message of consciousness, about the African Repatriation, Love and Equal Rigths, and also a message of rebellion against the Babylonian system.All the Tracks recorded in Rubera Records studio with the fundamental collaboration of Ras M, Dodas Spencer and Raskamaradah Alves. Now in 2017 Mystic is preparing his new European Tour , and he is already a confirm Artist for next Rototom Sunsplash in Lion Stage after the release of His new single SMARTPHONE extracted from the upcoming album "Straigth Talkin". Ever since the artist has been travelling worldwide promoting his ideas of reggae along with spreading the conscious message of One Love for all.
