INAUGURAÇÃO E PROJECÇÃO DO FILME / OPNING AND SCREENING OF THE FILM: “Angst (after future, thepast)”, de/by Jerónimo Rocha Terça/Tuesday 20 Jun 22:00 INSTALAÇÃO / INSTALATION: Até/Until 1 Jul 2017 qui–sáb/thu–sat 15:00–19:00 O colectivo Haarvöl (Fernando José Pereira, João Faria e Rui Manuel Vieira) no âmbito do lançamento do 3º álbum em nome próprio, 2º na editora holandesa Moving Furniture Records, apresenta uma instalação através da qual propõe uma espécie de suspensão do tempo no sentido da significação que advém da análise da palavra paragem: uma palavra constituída por dois verbos antagónicos, parar e agir. O que se encontra oculto nesta palavra é a possibilidade contemplativa. Uma nova abordagem para a ideia de contemplação, despida das suas conotações românticas e, agora, investida de uma significação que a coloca no território da resistência à compressão do tempo operada no nosso tempo. No dia da abertura, para lá da instalação, será projectado em estreia, o filme que o realizador Jerónimo Rocha fez para um dos temas do novo disco: “Angst (after future, thepast)”. // Haarvöl é um colectivo existente desde o final de 2012. Tem três discos editados em nome próprio e colaborações em alguns outros. Trabalha regularmente com a editora holandesa Moving Furniture Records. A sua música foi apresentada em vários espaços enquanto instalações sonoras, performances audiovisuais ou como uma espécie de cinema expandido focado na conexão entre sons e imagens. O trabalho do grupo também se encontra presente na banda sonora original de vídeos de artistas visuais. mais info: http://www.movingfurniturerecords.com/artists/haarvol/ - - - - - - - - - - - - The electronic music project Haarvöl (Fernando José Pereira, João Faria and Rui Manuel Vieira) as part of the launch of the 3rd album on its own name, 2nd at the Dutch label "Moving Furniture Records", presents an installation that proposes a kind of time suspension in the sense of thinking the meaning that comes from the analysis of the Portuguese word for halt: a word consisted by two opposing verbs, stop and act. What is hidden in this word is a contemplative possibility. A new approach to the idea of contemplation, without its romantic connotations and, now, with a meaning that places it in the territory of resistance to the compressive strength operated to time in our time. On the opening day, besides this installation, will be shown the premiere of the movie that the director Jerónimo Rocha made for one of the songs from Haarvöl’s new album, "Angst (after future, the past)". // Haarvöl is collective since the end of 2012. It has three discs edited in its own name and it has some collaborations in others. They regularly work with the dutch label Moving Furniture Records. They have made several presentations in various spaces as sound installations, audiovisual performances or as a kind of expanded cinema focused on the connection between sound and image.
