New Year's Yoga Retreat, Silver Coast, Portugal

Start 2018 feeling amazing with a week-long retreat held at the beautiful Maverick guesthouse at the coast, north of Lisbon. The Maverick is set in a tranquil countryside location, a short drive from the beach. All are welcome, including non-yoga partners.

Accommodation
We will have exclusive use of all 3 of the private modern villas. There are 14 rooms in total, some ensuite, for single occupancy, double or twin share. If you are coming with a group of friends there is the possibility to book one of the larger rooms as a 3 or 4-share.The extensive communal areas are perfect for relaxing and socialising with other like-minded guests.

Yoga & Meditation
Yoga classes are suitable for everyone. Michelle is an engaged and attentive teacher so you will receive lots of attention to get the most out of your practice and the retreat. The week is structured as a course to give you the confidence, knowledge and experience to be able to have your own practice.

What you do on your mat should make you feel good, inside and out. Classes are based upon the DynamicYoga Method which is a rhythmic and meditative practice, with a strong focus on structural integrity, especially of the spine. The more intimate you become with your body, the more you can feel and learn to trust its inherent intelligence. As your awareness deepens, ‘monkey-mind’ quietens naturally and effortlessly, grounded in the sensations of the body, leaving you feeling deeply relaxed, balanced, and integrated

Optional extras:
Massage is one of the most effective and enjoyable ways to remember what it feels like to be deeply relaxed and you will be spoilt for choice. The hardest part will be choosing  a treatment from Thai, Chavutti Thirumal, Relaxation, Therapeutic, Deep-Tissue and Craniosacral.. Prices from €50 an hour.

Break-Free coaching sessions to help you reset and start afresh. Fiona will help you identify the core issues where you feel stuck so you can make any necessary changes quickly and easily allowing you to move forward in your Life, Relationships, Business. Price: €75 per session including a free 20-minute consultation for all guests to see if the coaching can be of benefit to you.

Systemic Coaching & Therapy with Regina to help you clarify new ways of moving foward both professionally and in your personal life.  Price: €75 per session including a free 20-minute consultation for all guests to see if the coaching can be of benefit to you.

Surfing lessons will be available during the week. Each lesson is 2 hours and includes use of board, boots and wetsuit. €35pp per lesson or a pack of 5 for €150 if booked in advance.

Private transfers from Lisbon airport. Private transfer costs €50 if you need to arrive later or depart earlier than the group transfers which are included in the price.

This retreat is priced as follows per person:
Twin-Share for 1 or 2 people or Double for 2: £675/€775; with ensuite £795/€925
Single Occupancy: £850/€975; with ensuite £1,200/€1,375
