José Manuel Neto grew up among finely-tuned trills, developed as an autodidactic guitarist, and soon became one of the most sought-after accompanists in the world of fado. His fluidity, sensitivity and style as an accompanist developed to the point that he debuted as a solo instrumentalist in his own right with Tons de Lisboa in 2016. Get there early, sit close at his side, and close your eyes - you may just see the colors emanating from his guitar.

The Ribeiro da Cunha Palace, built in the nineteenth century, imposes its Moorish Revival presence on Principe Real and has a garden that makes a good neighbor for the Jardim Botânico.
