The main objective of this session focused on “Fab Labs and Crafts Makers: bringing together innovation to Artisanship” is firstly, to promote a reflection on how to marriage technology and traditional handmade artisanship in order to innovate this creative sector. Secondly, promoting mutual learning and sharing successful initiatives of cooperation between FabLabs and Crafts Makers.
For this purpose, Crafts Makers and FabLabs will be invited to present their views and experiences of cooperation and development of new projects involving technology and innovation.
The session will take place in the framework of the Global Exchange of Crafts Makers and the National Meeting of Portuguese Fab Labs organised by FABLAB ÉvoraTech by ADRAL, hosts of Dialogue Café Évora.
