LAST CALL FOR CHAPTERS SUBMISSION – APRIL 20th, 2017
(Chapter proposal of 1000 to 2000 words)

"LANDBOOK - Handbook of Research on Methods and Tools for Assessing Cultural Landscape Adaptation" - certified by IGI Global Editor

This Handbook will aim to provide a contemporary framework for addressing how innovative methods and tools can engage social and ecological components in the territory making possible to set future planning and management strategies for the emergent landscapes. The editors will seek to gather chapters that critically explore how the interpretation, relation or representation of the landscape components can contribute to knowledge innovation and multi-disciplinarity in the expression of human habitat.

This book will be a platform of international authorship researchs, gathering information to:
- Reflect on the different perspectives of landscape research exploring new directions in its assessment methodologies and tools;
- Provide a reflection on the different meanings of socio-ecological interpretation providing guidance for the development of integrative approaches;
- Constitute the state of the art in collaborative research presenting innovative interdisciplinary knowledge.

- Cultural landscape assessment 
- Urban and/or rural settlement analysis
- Heritage values recognition
- Socio-ecological resilience
- Digital research tools (such as GIS)
- Territorial change representation
- Sustainable adaptative strategies
- Integrated landscape management
- Sustainable governance models 

Professors, students and researchers are invited to submit chapter proposals (ranging from 1,000-2,000 words) until April 15th, 2017.
