Porto Water Innovation Week

For seven days, the city of Porto will become the European capital of water and innovation. A set of three major events where national and international opinion leaders on water and innovation issues propose to discuss the main issues posed by the ongoing revolution in the sector during the EIP Water Conference 2017, always with the double objective of breaking down the barriers To innovation and to create business opportunities.
The Mayors & Water Conference 2017 will focus on the official presentation of the Urban Water Agenda (2030) and the demonstration of case studies on sustainable and innovative solutions for urban water management.
WIL Europe Porto 2017 will offer a unique and unforgettable experience of inter-generational and cross-sectorial learning, inviting collaboration among young leaders, mentors and facilitators.
The common initiative for these three main events, which are deployed in various activities, is called Water for People and is
composed of a set of actions for involving the general population in the theme of "Water and Innovation", culminating with Aquaporto 2017 in the City Park.

Durante oito dias, a cidade do Porto vai transformar-se na capital europeia da água e inovação. Um conjunto de três grandes eventos onde os líderes de opinião nacionais e internacionais nas temáticas da água e inovação propõem-se discutir as principais questões colocadas pela revolução em curso no sector durante a EIP Water Conference 2017, sempre com o duplo objetivo de derrubar as barreiras à inovação e de criar oportunidades de negócio. 
O Mayors & Water Conference 2017, irá focar-se na apresentação oficial da Agenda Urbana para a Água (2030) e na demonstração de casos de estudo sobre soluções sustentáveis e inovadoras para a gestão da água nas cidades.
O WIL Europe Porto 2017 vai proporcionar uma experiência única e inesquecível de aprendizagem intergeracional e intersetorial, convidando à colaboração entre jovens líderes, mentores e facilitadores.
A iniciativa transversal a todos estes eventos denomina-se Water & People, sendo constituída por várias atividades destinadas a envolver os cidadãos na temática da água e inovação, culminando com o Aquaporto 2017 no Parque da Cidade.
