‘’Kaleidoscope” - the psychedelic night experience in Lisbon is back! After last January incredible party with Jacco Gardner , Kaleidoscope returns for another Psych night!
This time we are proud to have as a guest dj Mário Valente, that can be considered as one of the Elders in the portuguese underground music scene. Wizard of many tastes, from electronica to noise or sci-fi and horror movies, responsible for the bar Lounge, Salón Fuzz parties and radio show, he will surely surprise you and take you on a trip far beyond the edges of the universe.
Joining will be also Pedro Chau (member of The Parkinsons & Ghost Hunt, mystical voyager, master in psych gems, that will embrace you with his pulsating and far out grooves) and your usual host, Dj a boy named Sue (21st century rock'n'roll gipsy time-machine) and the two-screen video projections of Lena Huracán (expert in the art of painting images like sound mirrors and voodoo drummer from Brazil).
So join us once more on a celebration of the Psychedelia culture through a trip of senses, colors and sounds, beginning in the 60s - with Syd Barrett, Love and Os Mutantes, blinking an eye to the far east sitar sounds – traveling through Spacemen 3 and Sonic Youth, and reaching the new ways of Psych Music, reborn with Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Temples, Black Angels, Moon Duo or La Femme.
