Spencer Parker sabe muito e é um daqueles tipos que fica como sério concorrente à lista de favoritos de quem o segue. Com edições na Buzzin’ Fly, Rekids ou Ovum, e com muito mais paciência para se dedicar a cavar pérolas obscuras do que dar de bandeja ao público um qualquer hit já macerado, Spencer Parker não se arrisca a ser um caso sério do DJing – já o é. Um acompanhamento que não é de admirar e, arriscamo-nos, vem já desde as antigas civilizações. Vasco Valente é parte do colectivo nortenho RDZ e gosta mais de alma e groove do que divisão entre géneros. Já anda por aí a misturar música de outros há uns quantos anos e esta estreia na Rush é certa e segura, em especial uma oportunidade dos habitantes da capital e outros visitantes se lembrarem que existe talento a ser explorado em todas as coordenadas do nosso país. He is a DJ who knows that much of his role is giving the audience exactly what they want – only they don’t know yet that they want it. Spencer Parker is one of those guys who can become a serious contender for the favourites list of those who catch him playing out. Finding constraining herself to just one genre a bit boring, she goes between House and Techno and demonstrates that she’s here to stay, with a passion and determination not many display. Vasco Valente A proud native of the Douro region, known worldwide for its wines, he divides his life between the gods’ nectar and music – a companionship not to be found strange, as it has been happening since the earliest civilizations of Earth. Vasco Valente is a part of northern collective RDZ and prefers soul and groove to stiff genre divisions. He’s been doing his thing for quite some time and his debut at this Rush night is a certain one, and a reminder to all inhabitants of Lisbon – and visitors, also – that there’s talent in every inch of our country.
