E o "Ficar aos Domingos nas Quintas" continua! Bora? No próximo Domingo, dia 9, todos os caminhos deste movimento de entreajuda e partilha por uma vida pura vão dar ao projecto H.O.M.E. (Heal Ourselves and Mother Earth / Curemos-Nos e à Mãe Terra) na estrada do boletim metereológico, Portalegre. HOME (LAR) é um lugar que apela à Paz do Ser, à exploração da Essência através de actividade e serenidade , em íntima comunhão com a Natureza. No útero deste lar desenvolve-se uma entidade denominada HOPE, cujo propósito de vida passa pela harmonização dos Seres e Saberes, caminhando em direcção a um presente mais iluminado pela Sabedoria da Natureza. Fazem parte desta entidade actividades abrangidas por qualquer um dos seguintes pilares: Turismo de Natureza, Permacultura, Educação e Desenvolvimento Pessoal, Saúde e Bem-Estar. A quinta consiste num terreno de 3 hectares inserido no Parque Nacional da Serra de São Mamede, dividido numa área florestal e noutra silvo-pastoril, com um vale com água e fertilidade abundantes, onde se estão a desenvolver jardins de permacultura. Tarefas: Construir “raised beds” de permacultura e plantar árvores. Ferramentas necessárias: Roupa e calçado p/ trabalho, luvas, chapéu, óculos de sol, enxadas, pás … Almoço partilhado. Como chegar lá: Estrada do Boletim Meteorológico Do centro de Portalegre, subir em direcção à estação meteorológica, passando a estação do lado direito, seguir uns 900 metros, passando por uma quinta do lado esquerdo tipicamente com vários gatos na porta, e chegando à Azinhaga Quinta Ferreira do lado esquerdo (placa visível só para quem vem no sentido oposto), em frente a uma quinta renovada com um muro de pedra novo, um arco antigo e uma vista maravilhosa. Para quem vem de Portalegre, é uma caminhada de 45 minutos desde o Rossio. It is divided into a forestry area and a wild plants & shepherding area, with a creek flowing into a fertile valley where permaculture gardens are being developed. How to get there: Estrada do Boletim Meteorológico From the center of Portalegre, climb towards the weather station, passing the station on the right, below about 900 feet, passing a farm on the left typically with several cats at the door, and coming to Azinhaga Quinta Ferreira on the left (visible plaque only for those coming in the opposite direction), in front of a renovated farmhouse with a new stone wall, an ancient arch and a wonderful view.
