Ideias Levante – The Cultural Association of Lagoa is proud to announce the return of an exciting project for youngsters in October. “Teatro Musical" will be led by Gita Nasta and will consist of one group, from 6-18 years. The group will be bi-lingual taught in both Portuguese and English and will meet on Fridays after school in Lagoa, at CEFLA (Centro de Estudos e Formação de Lagoa), around 5:00pm. Gita Nasta, a talented musician/composer, will offer a comprehensive musical training for children. Developing vocal skills and dramatic talents from an early age through to advanced stages with pupil, group and solo performances. GITA NASTA | Composer, teacher and pianist, Gita Nasta has taught in many schools and countries around the world and during her fifteen years in Belgium founded and directed the popular and successful – “Brussels Youth Opera”- which performed her works in major theatres both in Belgium and abroad. Many of her ex-students have taken up professional musical careers. Since settling in Portugal, she has been Head of Music at the International School of the Algarve and is well known for her regular music theatre compositions and productions during the last two decades.
