A Deep jump in the magic world of irregular rhythms  of the Balkans
All levels admitted and will have fun!
We will hear a lot of music and will practice with voice , some percussion available in situ but also with any other instrument you will bring with you.

LEFTERIS GRIGORIOU
  was born in Athens in 1962. First he studied Music in Greece and then in Paris, at the Concervatoire National Superieur de Musique. At the same time, he focused on Ethnic Musical Traditions especially  West African (djembe,Ngoni) and Greek (Percussion and bagpipes) by travelling in Greece, Africa and around the world.
   Since 1995 teaches African and Greek Percussion in his school, in Athens
Alongside organizes seminars, drum cycles and actions with pupils in schools.
   He has collaborate as a performer in concerts and recordings (playing African and Greek percussion and Bagpipes ) with numerous artists (Babara Bangoura,Moussa Oulare, Taffa Cisse, Cheich Mboup, Serafin Zekoua, Psarantonis, Farouk Tekbilek, Ross Daly and others) and in 2004 collaborated with Pierre Caillou for the organisation of the percussion parade, in the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Athens, where he also played as Greek soloist.
