Passado um ano sobre a estreia de Molly numa noite Rush, este regresso é uma confirmação daquilo que muitos já sabem e outros ficarão a saber: França continua a carregar consigo o House e o Techno, a ter identidade própria e a gerar talento. Foi na Grã-Bretanha que se apaixonou pelas batidas quadradas, mas o regresso ao país natal, desta vez a Paris, deu-lhe a certeza de uma carreira na música. Ao Rex Club, chama a sua casa. É fácil ver a razão: o sítio onde, para além de se formar nas pistas, acabaria por se tornar DJ residente com as sus festas “Head On”, onde mensalmente recebe figuras chave do House e Techno. A título de exemplo, alguns dos últimos convidados foram Kyle Hall, Jus Ed, Lakuti ou Onur Ozer. Daqui se depreende também o ecletismo (e perdoem-nos o uso desta tão sobre-usada expressão) por onde se pauta, e que sem dúvida tem ajudado à sua tão já preenchida agenda que, ainda assim, lhe permite ter tempo para algum trabalho de estúdio. Escarço em número mas forte em qualidade – basta verificar as remisturas para Radio Slave ou Spencer Parker. Música de dança, profunda e agitada. Se a conhecem, já sabem que é imperativo acolhê-la neste reencontro com Lisboa. Mas se ainda não, então fica o conselho: não fiquem à espera do momento em que Molly vai andar constantemente nos conselhos dos vossos amigos. Ela vai cá estar, agora. A year past after Molly’s debut at our Rush night, this return is a confirmation of what many already know and others will find out: France is still a bastion for House and Techno music alike, with its own identity and generating talent. It was in Great-Britain that she fell in love with four on the floor beats, but the return to her home country, this time to the city of Paris, gave her a career in music. She calls Rex Club her home, and it’s easy to see why: not only has she spent many formative nights dancing on that floor, but eventually became resident DJ and hosts her monthly “Head On” night, inviting key figures such as Kyle Hall, Jus Ed, Lakuti or Onur Ozer. A diverse bunch of guests proving her eclecticism (and we’re sorry for using this often abused word!), which has undoubtedly helped with filling up her already busy international schedule, leaving, fortunately, some free time for studio endeavours, scarce but of extreme quality – just check out the remixes for Radio Slave or Spencer Parker.
