As palavras não podem dizer muito em joalharia. Há que ver, sentir e utilizar as peças no corpo. Há que viver com elas. Só assim, o prazer do pensado e elaborado, do formular e fabular com ideias, desejos e matérias, pode irradiar fascinação.O que deve permanecer é a alegria e o desejo de entender e de usar estas jóias como símbolos da nossa própria personalidade.

Snapshot é o nome da exposição colectiva que a Reverso irá inaugurar no Sábado, dia 28 de Novembro, pelas 17 horas. Para a festa da inauguração a Reverso organizou um projecto em colaboração com a fotógrafa Diana Laires que irá fotografar os visitantes com peças em exposição por eles escolhidas para o propósito. A ideia será encorajar o público a experimentar a joalharia de autor e desenvolver um novo gosto por esta.

Words cannot say much about jewellery. You have to see, feel and wear the pieces on the body. You have to live with them. Only then, the pleasure of the thought and made, of the formulated and fabulated with ideas, desires and matters, can irradiate fascination.What should remain is the joy and the desire to understand and wear these pieces of jewellery as symbols of your own personality.

Snapshot is the name of the contemporary jewellery group exhibition Reverso will open on Saturday, November 18, around 5 pm. For the opening the gallery organized a project in collaboration with photographer Diana Laires who will photograph the visitors wearing pieces chosen by them from the exhibition. The idea is to encourage people to try on the jewellery and hopefully develop a new appreciation for it. The exhibition will feature works developed by the usual artists of the gallery and a new group of guest artists.
