FEMME Sessions #69 | Maus Hábitos

PT_  No âmbito da rúbrica Cinema à Mesa, as Femme Sessions exibem, nas últimas quartas-feiras de cada mês, cinema feito por mulheres!
Excepcionalmente, voltamos já na próxima quarta-feira dia 20 de Setembro com um trio de realizadoras. Irina Pampim Silva, Cecília Honório e Paula Miranda trazem-nos o filme “Novíssimas Cartas Portuguesas”, vencedor do Prémio Melhor Documentário da competição nacional. Esta obra recebeu ainda o Prémio A Voz Das Mulheres, que tem como objetivo distinguir o melhor filme que aborde a afirmação do uso da palavra das mulheres na denúncia da situação de discriminação nas várias dimensões da vida, tendo sido atribuído – pela primeira vez no Porto Femme – pelo MIRA GALERIAS.

Sinopse: 
O documentário volta às protagonistas iniciais com entrevistas inéditas a Maria Teresa Horta, Helena Neves ou Ana Campos e discute as novas fronteiras do que é ser mulher, entrevistando Rita Rato, Sara Barros Leitão, mulheres trans, mulheres negras e jovens. 
“Novíssimas Cartas Portuguesas”, um documentário que traz um olhar sobre os feminismos do séc. XXI usando as lentes dessa obra que inspirou Simone de Beauvoir, Marguerite Duras e tantas gerações de feministas daí em diante. 

 
Biografias: 
Cecília Honório
Professora de História e Doutorada em História das Ideias Políticas, foi deputada por três legislaturas. É Feminista e ativista pelos direitos das mulheres. 

 
Irina Pampim
Produtora, estudante de licenciatura em Sociologia e de Mestrado em Urbanismo Sustentável, ativista pelos direitos das mulheres e direitos sociais. 

 
Paula Miranda
Há vinte anos a cortar e colar imagens com som. Hoje trabalha nas áreas de publicidade, televisão, documentário e cinema. Gosta de trabalhar em ficção mas tem um espacinho especial no seu coração para encaixar a vida real (e as temáticas que ela traz consigo) dentro de um écran.

Exceptionally, we will return next Wednesday, September 20th, with a trio of directors. Irina Pampim Silva, Cecília Honório and Paula Miranda bring us the film “Novíssimas Cartas Portuguesas”, winner of the Best Documentary Award in the national competition. This work also received the “The Women’s Voice” Award, which aims to distinguish the best film that addresses the affirmation of the use of women's words in denouncing the situation of discrimination in the various dimensions of life, having been awarded - for the first time in Porto Femme – by MIRA GALERIAS.

Synopsis: 
The documentary goes back to the initial protagonists with unpublished interviews with Maria Teresa Horta, Helena Neves, or Ana Campos and discusses the new frontiers of what it means to be a woman, interviewing Rita Rato, Sara Barros Leitão, trans women, black women, and young women.
"Novíssimas Cartas Portuguesas," a documentary that takes a look at 21st-century feminisms using the lenses of this work that inspired Simone de Beauvoir, Marguerite Duras, and so many generations of feminists from then on. 

 
Biographies:  
Cecília Honório
Professor of History and Doctorate in History of Political Ideas, she has been a Member of Parliament for three legislatures. She is a feminist and women's rights activist. 
Irina Pampim
Producer, student of Sociology and Master in Sustainable Urbanism, activist for women's rights and social rights. 
Paula Miranda
Twenty years of cutting and pasting images. Studying Fine Arts in the UK, today she works in the areas of advertising, television, documentaries and cinema. She likes to work in fiction but has a special space in her heart to fit real life (and the themes it brings with it) inside a screen.
