Portuguese: Go_A é uma banda ucraniana de electro-folk formada pela primeira vez em 2012. O nome da banda significa "retorno às raízes" e foi criado combinando a palavra inglesa "Go" com a letra grega "Alpha", que simboliza o início de tudo. A banda chamou a atenção pela primeira vez após o lançamento de seu single "Vesnianka", que ganhou a competição nacional "A Melhor Canção" na Ucrânia em 2015. A música permaneceu em primeiro lugar por seis semanas no gráfico 10 Dance da estação de rádio Kiss FM na Ucrânia. No outono de 2016, Go_A lançou seu álbum de estreia "Follow the Tune" pela Moon Records. O álbum é composto por dez músicas, incluindo "Vesnianka". English: Go_A is a Ukrainian electro-folk band first formed in 2012. The band's name means "return to the roots" and was made by combining the English word "Go" with the Greek letter "Alpha", which symbolizes the beginning of everything. The band first gained attention after the release of their single “Vesnianka” which won the national competition ‘The Best Track’ in Ukraine in 2015. The song stayed Number 1 for six weeks on the 10Dance chart of the Kiss FM radio station in Ukraine. In the fall of 2016, Go_A released their debut album “Follow the Tune” under Moon Records. The album consists of ten songs, including “Vesnianka.” In 2017 they released a Christmas single with Katia Chilly titled “Shchedryi vechir.” They were set to represent Ukraine and perform the song “Solovey” for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Although the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they represented Ukraine the following year and placed fifth overall in the Grand Final with their performance of “Shum.” Since then, “Shum” has reached Number 59 in the UK, and Number 24 on the Top Hot Dance/Electronic Songs of the American Billboard.
