Os Hotel Modern ocupam um lugar muito especial nas artes performativas europeias. Entre o teatro e o cinema, entre a performance e a marioneta, estes artistas têm desenvolvido um trabalho capaz de questionar o mundo em que vivemos: os grandes temas históricos e a análise crítica da sociedade contemporânea não são estranhos à poética do trio holandês.
Nesta masterclass é proposto aos participantes um contacto breve e enriquecedor com os artistas, as suas motivações e as suas abordagens pioneiras ao universo da manipulação e da filmagem em tempo real.

Hotel Modern occupies a very special place in European performing arts circles. Between theatre and cinema, between performance and puppetry, these artists have developed projects that make us question the world we live in: the great historical themes and the critical analysis of contemporary society are not foreign to the poetics of the Dutch trio.
In this masterclass, participants will be offered a brief and enriching contact with the artists to discover the latter’s motivations and their pioneering approaches to the universe of puppet manipulation and filming in real time.
