Um monte de pedras, uma máquina de fumo e um microfone. O som. O sopro. Uma confissão.
“O que pode um corpo?” Que corpo é este que vimos perseguindo? Que corpo manifesto vimos tentando enunciar?
A procura de uma razão sensível, de um corpo pensante, de outras formas de lucidez que assentam em novos equilíbrios entre a dimensão sensorial e racional são linhas de trabalho que queremos aprofundar. Andamos à procura de novas gramáticas de sensibilidade, da “inteligência selvagem dos corpos”, do corpo chão da terra que reflete memórias ancestrais e desconhecidas.
“O corpo tem geometria e formas que ninguém ouve”, e é em êxtase que descobrimos uma efervescência seca, ruídos de pedra a fender-se, vestígios de plantas iluminadas, de bocejos de animais…
“Pelo ventre é que o silêncio tem de começar”.
Em “Feedback”, o som captado e manipulado ao vivo é a pista eleita para investigar com novo detalhe.
Elemento invisível que promove a baralhação entre o dentro e o fora, desenha espaços com nada e mexe-nos por dentro até às entranhas, é incrível a variação dos lugares que se conseguem visitar com um microfone.
Em “Feedback” procuramos o ponto de encontro entre a memória confessional e os tópicos de um quadro de ideias-chave que vimos tentando mapear. O ar, a escuta, o ampliar de micropercepções, o dilatar do tempo, a reversão da pele, a evocação de um tempo primitivo, a tensão entre o ancestral e a tecnologia. A crueza, a verdade, tudo despido ao essencial: o corpo, a origem do som, a técnica, a matéria.

A pile of stones, a smoke machine and a microphone. The sound. The breath. A confession.
“What can a body do?” What is this body we have been pursuing? What manifest body have we been trying to enunciate?
The search for a sensible reason, for a thinking body, for other forms of lucidity that are based on new balances between the sensorial and rational dimensions are lines of work that we want to deepen. We are in search of new grammars of sensibility, of the “wild intelligence of the bodies”, of the earth ground body that reflects ancestral and unknown memories.
“The body has geometry and forms that no one hears” and it is in ecstasy that we discover a dry effervescence, noises of stone splitting, traces of illuminated plants, of animal yawns…
“Through the womb is where the silence must begin”.
In “Feedback”, the sound captured and manipulated live is the chosen track to investigate in new detail.
Invisible element that promotes the shuffle between inside and outside, draws spaces with nothing and moves us inside to the core, it is amazing the variation of places that can be visited with a microphone.
The air, the listening, the expansion of microperceptions, the dilation of time, the reversal of the skin, the evocation of a primitive time, the tension between the ancestral and the technological. The rawness, the truth, everything undressed to the essential: the body, the origin of the sound, the technique, the matter.
