Rui Cunha Martins Professor da Universidade de Coimbra, onde desempenha funções de investigação e docência na área dos estudos contemporâneos. Entre as suas principais áreas de estudo – gradualmente estruturadas em torno da problemática da contemporaneidade – contam-se: a questão das estéticas da mudança e das modalidades transicionais, no quadro das gramáticas da temporalidade e dos regimes de historicidade; a problemática da fronteira e do limite, seja no horizonte político-constitucional, seja nos diversos âmbitos da mobilização contemporânea desses conceitos; e a temática dos regimes processuais da prova e da decisão, no contexto da intersistemicidade das arenas sociais, estéticas e jurídicas; linhas, por conseguinte, de manifesta confluência transdisciplinar. Nessas áreas tem orientado diversas dissertações de mestrado e doutoramento. É investigador do Centro de Direitos Humanos da Faculdade de Direito / Ius Gentium Conimbrigae (integrando a respetiva direção com as funções de Coordenador para as Relações Académicas Luso-Brasileiras) e do Centro de Estudos Interdisciplinares do Século XX dessa mesma Universidade (do qual foi Vice-Coordenador Científico entre 2011 e 2012 e onde dirige a linha de pesquisa “Fronteira, Democracia e Direitos Humanos”). Integra atualmente a Coordenação e a Comissão Científica do Curso de Pós-Doutoramento em Democracia e Direitos Humanos da Universidade de Coimbra, uma iniciativa conjunta daqueles dois Centros. É, ainda, nessa mesma universidade, docente da FLUC, no quadro do Departamento de História e Estudos Europeus, membro do Instituto de História e Teoria das Ideias e membro integrante da Comissão de Supervisão do Programa de Doutoramento em Altos Estudos Contemporâneos, de que é docente, bem como dos Programas de Doutoramento em Estudos Europeus e em Altos Estudos em História e do Programa inter-universitário Master in Contemporary Studies “Roads to Democracy”. Está ainda ligado, quer enquanto Professor Visitante de programas de pós-graduação, quer enquanto membro de redes e grupos de pesquisa, a diversas instituições universitárias espanholas, francesas e brasileiras, designadamente em Barcelona, Salamanca, Amiens, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Recife e Belo Horizonte. Recebeu, em 2011, a medalha EMERJ, que lhe foi atribuída pela Escola de Magistratura do Estado do Rio de Janeiro em atenção “aos relevantes serviços prestados à cultura jurídica, ao poder judiciário e à sociedade brasileira”. Isabel Moreira Isabel Moreira, nasceu em 1976, no Brasil. Foi docente universitária, é mestre em Direito Constitucional, advogada, consultora jurídica, sendo atualmente Deputada à Assembleia da República pelo Partido Socialista. A sua escrita situa-se na indefinição de género. Antes da presente obra, publicou: Pessoas só, Quando uma Palavra não Basta; Ansiedade; e Apátrida.
Luís Duarte d’Almeida Professor na Universidade Nova de Lisboa e na Universidade de Edimburgo. Formou-se na Universidade de Lisboa (licenciatura e mestrado) e na Universidade de Oxford (doutoramento). Ensina e escreve sobre filosofia, teoria do direito e argumentação jurídica. Também tem formação musical (Instituto Gregoriano de Lisboa e Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa), e atividade como pianista.
Luís Sousa Ferreira Adjunto da direção artística do Teatro Nacional D Maria II. Entre 2019 e 2020, foi consultor artístico da candidatura Braga’27 e diretor artístico do projeto Aldear, abrangendo os 11 municípios da região do Tâmega e Sousa. Participou como membro do Conselho Consultivo da representação de Portugal à Expo 2020 Dubai e, também, como membro do Grupo de Trabalho da DG ARTES (Ministério da Cultura) para o Aperfeiçoamento do Modelo de Apoio às Artes, entre 2019 e 2021. Acumula, com a atividade profissional, a atividade de docente na ESAD das Caldas da Rainha, no curso de Programação e Produção Cultural, Foi fundador e Diretor do festival BONS SONS, entre 2006 e 2019, e comissário do Caminhos do Médio Tejo, programa cultural em rede integrando 13 municípios, entre 2016 e 2018. Diplomado em Design Industrial pela ESAD.CR, assumiu a coordenação de produção e desenvolvimento da experimenta design entre 2009 e 2015. Anteriormente, entre 2006 e 2009, trabalhou no Centro de Estudos de Novas Tendências Artísticas (CENTA) como produtor cultural e foi cofundador do colectivo‐mente. É cronista regular na revista Gerador.

Rui Cunha Martins Professor at the University of Coimbra, where he researches and teaches in the area of contemporary studies. Among his main areas of study – gradually structured around the problematic of contemporaneity – are: the question of the aesthetics of change and transitional modalities, in the framework of the temporality grammars and the regimes of historicity; the problematic of the border and the limit, whether on the political-constitutional horizon, or in the various scopes of the contemporary mobilisation of these concepts; and the thematic of the procedural regimes of proof and decision, in the context of the intersystemicity of the social, aesthetic and legal arenas; lines, therefore, of obvious transdisciplinary confluence. In these areas he has supervised several Master’s and PhD dissertations. He is a researcher at the Centre for Human Rights of the Faculty of Law / Ius Gentium Conimbrigae (integrating the respective direction with the functions of Coordinator for Academic Relations Luso-Brazilian) and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies of the 20th Century of that same University (of which he was Scientific Vice-Coordinator between 2011 and 2012 and where he directs the research line “Border, Democracy and Human Rights”). He currently integrates the Coordination and the Scientific Committee of the Post-Doctoral Course on Democracy and Human Rights at the University of Coimbra, a combined initiative of those two Centres. He is also a lecturer at the FLUC, in the Department of History and European Studies, a member of the Institute of History and Theory of Ideas and an integral member of the Supervisory Board of the PhD Programme in Contemporary Studies, of which he is a lecturer, as well as of the PhD Programmes in European Studies and in Advanced Studies in History and the inter-university Master’s Programme in Contemporary Studies “Roads to Democracy”. He is also connected, both as Visiting Professor in postgraduate programmes and as member of networks and research groups, to various Spanish, French and Brazilian university institutions, namely in Barcelona, Salamanca, Amiens, São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Recife and Belo Horizonte. He received, in 2011, the EMERJ medal, given by the School of Magistracy of the State of Rio de Janeiro in attention to “the relevant services provided to the legal culture, to the judiciary and to the Brazilian society”. Isabel Moreira was born in 1976, in Brazil. She was a university teacher, holds a Master’s degree in Constitutional Law, is a lawyer, legal consultant, and is currently a Member of Parliament for the Socialist Party. Her writing is situated in the indefinition of gender. Before this work, she published: People alone, When a Word is not Enough; Anxiety; and Stateless.
Luís Duarte d’Almeida He has taught at the Universidade Nova in Lisbon and at the University of Edinburgh. He trained at the University of Lisbon (BA and MA) and at Oxford University (PhD). He teaches and writes on philosophy, legal theory and legal argumentation. He also has musical training (Instituto Gregoriano de Lisboa and Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa), and activity as a pianist.
Luís Sousa Ferreira Assistant of the artistic direction of Teatro Nacional D Maria II. Between 2019 and 2020, he was artistic consultant for Braga’27 and artistic director of the “Aldear” project, covering 11 municipalities of the Portuguese region of Tâmega-e-Sousa. He was an Advisory Board member of the Portugal representation at Expo 2020 Dubai, and a member of the DGARTES (Ministry of Culture) Working Group for the Improvement of the Support Model for the Arts between 2019 and 2021. Along with his professional activity, he works as a teacher at ESAD in Caldas da Rainha in the Programming and Cultural Production course. He was founder and director of the BONS SONS festival between 2006 and 2019, and commissioner of Caminhos do Médio Tejo, a networked cultural programme covering 13 municipalities between 2016 and 2018. He graduated in Industrial Design by ESAD.CR and coordinated the production and development of experimentadesign between 2009 and 2015. Previously, between 2006 and 2009, he worked at the Centre for the Study of New Artistic Trends (CENTA) as cultural producer and was a co-founder of colectivo-mente. He is also a columnist for Gerador magazine.
