Pela primeira vez em Portugal apresentamos ASHANTI SELAH, um músico e produtor inglês, filho do lendário ABA SHANTI-I. Desde pequeno ligado à cultura soundsytem nas sessões míticas do seu pai, tem vindo a produzir alguns dos maiores tunes dos últimos anos em colaborações com grandes nomes do Reggae/Dub como MAD PROFESSOR, ALPHA STEPPA ou JUNIOR ROY. Esta noite apresenta estes e muitos outros sons exclusivos, na verdadeira tradição soundsystem.
Convidamos também o selecta TOY COOL, membro pioneiro do Reggae nacional, sempre com uma selecção intemporal carregada de raízes africanas.
O Arroz Estúdios é um espaço artístico multidisciplinar e além da sessão de soundsystem podem aproveitar a esplanada com pizzaria de forno a lenha e visitar as exposições em curso.

[ENG] ROOTS DIMENSION SOUNDSYSTEM returns to Arroz Estúdios with two special guests for this AFRICAN ROOTS session!
For the first time in Portugal we present ASHANTI SELAH, an English musician and producer, son of the legendary ABA SHANTI-I. Starting the mystical journey for his keen interest of playing music came from his early days of being exposed to the sound system culture through his father, he has produced some of the greatest tunes of recent years in collaboration with big names in Reggae/Dub such as MAD PROFESSOR, ALPHA STEPPA or JUNIOR ROY. He will present these and many other exclusive sounds, in true soundsystem tradition.
We also invite selecta TOY COOL, a pioneer member of Reggae in Portugal, always with a timeless selection full of African roots.
Arroz Estúdios is a multidisciplinary artistic space and, in addition to the soundsystem session, you can enjoy the terrace with a wood-fired pizzeria and visit the ongoing exhibitions.
