Our THIS LIFE event at LOOK.Sharp is designed to present, participate and discuss all aspects of what it means to be a human being on this planet at this time. From self-improvement with our “making it happen” series, to alternative lifestyles or perspectives in our “alternate relations” series where questioning our accepted narratives is part of the group participation. Expect future discussions on sustainability, communities, solutions, theories and more to follow in the coming months.

Tonight Darren presents continues from the first presentation, presenting a new concept for social and environmental management that challenges many of the perceptions we might have taken for granted as unchangeable.

Imagine a future where transactional currency was removed as a form of determining value of goods and work. Where the wealth and health of a society could be followed in real time and challenges could be addressed quickly and with precision. Where countries, governance and ownership are transcended for wellbeing and collaborative social management. Sounds crazy doesn't it!? It's not a new idea, but today with our state of technology and improved global perspective, it is something that is entirely possible.

Feedback on the first presentation is that it was enthralling however we tired to cover too much too quickly. In this Part II installation, Darren will explain in more detail technical function of a new system that transcends exchangeable currency presenting arguments for an intrinsic measuring system that holds balance and collective responsibility over growth and self interest. How could such a system be developed and successfully run alongside the current system to slowly subvert and ultimately replace it? The proposal is conceptual and in its infancy where questions and suggestions are welcomed.
