Processing Community Day@Coimbra 2021

Processing Community Day Coimbra 2021 main event: keynote session and short presentation talks

The Processing Community Day initiative is supported by the Processing Foundation and has the goal of celebrating art, code and diversity while promoting creative coding and computational thinking as tools for creative students, researchers and professionals.
PCD@Coimbra aims at being a showcase for what is currently being developed in Portugal, especially in Coimbra, and also a place for stimulating discussion and initiating future collaborations.
PCD@Coimbra 2021 includes workshops, exhibitions and a talks session. In 2021, PCD@Coimbra will take place between the 8th and the 10th of December, 2021.
The talk sessions will take place on Thursday 9th of December, 2021 in a hybrid way: physically in the Department of Informatics Engineering of the University of Coimbra (room A5.4); and remotely (stream via youtube ).
All events and talks are free! However, due to the current pandemic situation in Portugal, all the physical participants must present a valid COVID digital certificate at the entrance of all events of PCD@Coimbra 2021.
We warmly welcome all people who are interested in exploring code as a creative tool, both for the local (in Coimbra) and the international community (in Youtube) to join us.
Besides the main talk, PCD@Coimbra also welcomes the workshop Processing for Android (DEI and remote), the exhibition 25 (DEI — FCTUC) and the exhibition {Between} (Nest Collective Downtown).
