The band plays a crust hardcore taking its influences from black metal, grindcore, death metal or chaotic hardcore. Pilori has played several shows all accross France and Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland and Switzerland) and shared the stage with bands like Nostromo, Oathbreaker, Full of Hell, Cult Leader, Birds in Row, Regarde Les Hommes Tomber, The Body, Sumac, Fange, Implore, Blockheads, Benighted, Harm Done, Unleashed, Coilguns, Wolfpack, Cowards, Comity, Revulsion, Plebeian Grandstand, Whoresnation, Stuntman, Nuisible, Lazare, Primal Age, Bain de Sang, etc... After a first 4-tracks demo in 2016, and a 7" split-vinyl with the US band Dakhma in 2018, Pilori releases its first LP in june 2020, "À Nos Morts". It was produced by Cyrille Gachet (Fange, Sordide, Monarch, Year of No Light, The Great Old Ones, Verdun, Huata...) and mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, Full of Hell, Obituary, Pig Destroyer, Integrity, Tragedy, Cult Leader, All Pigs Must Die, Gatecreeper, Young And In The Way, Trap Them, Leeched...). Dylan Walker (Full of Hell) and Matthias Jungbluth (Fange / Calvaiire) feature on it. "À Nos Morts" was released on LP by an international co-production involving, among others, Terrain Vague (FR), Black Omega Recordings (DE), Shove Records (IT), Loner Cult (BE), Suspended Soul (USA), Bad Moon Rising (TW), Abyssal Cult (UK) or Ugly & Proud (BG) ; on CD by BRC30 Productions (BE) ; and on cassette by Terrain Vague.
