Come join us, Ed and Florence, for a creative workshop in abstract art, where you’ll practice several drawing and painting techniques for producing unique, exciting images! Junta-te a nós, Ed e Florence, para uma oficina criativa de arte abstracta, onde praticarás várias técnicas de desenho e pintura para produzir imagens únicas e excitantes! Don’t worry if you aren’t experienced with drawing/painting, the goal of our events is always to exercise your creative brain through rapid, collaborative exercises where you learn to release yourself from the end result and instead become immersed in the reward of the process. Also, we’ll be making abstract pieces so there’s no wrong way to do it anyway! We are going to be practicing a number of different techniques including: - building an image using only a few primitive fixed shapes, - drawing objects at three levels of simplification, - drawing people using only straight lines, - painting portraits but swapping the colours for a completely different palette. It’s a two hour session and all materials will be provided. You’re also welcome to stay for a drink after to chat about what you learned.
