Born in France, Alex Terrier is residing in New York where he works with jazz luminaries such as Kenny Barron, The Mingus Big Band,
During this workshop, Alex Terrier will demonstrate some of the creative paths he has been exploring both as an improviser and a composer. Some of the topics that will be discussed will include:
- techniques to construct your solo and develop a story
- exploring how to play out
- group playing
- composition techniques
