ASF 2015 - Lisbon Tour & Vaudeville Parade + Outdoor Welcome Party

Come with us and stretch your legs after your flight to Portugal, as we go on an epic walking tour of Lisbon!  Helpful locals will guide you through the streets of this marvelous and historic city, pointing out all the best photo ops and places to eat.

At the end of the tour we're going to have our very own Vaudeville Parade!  Replicating the tradition of a parade when a Vaudeville show arrived to a new city, we'll be announcing the arrival of Atlantic Swing Festival to Lisbon!  Be prepared to share your talent as we parade from Rossio Square to Martim Moniz, where one of our DJs awaits to open the festival with an outdoor party!  Dance, play music, juggle, breathe fire, jump, skip, wave a banner, twirl a flag, blow bubbles - there are no rules here, just good clean fun, Vaudeville style!  Be creative and bring on the energy!

Then get your dancing started at Mercado de Mercado Fusão - Martim Moniz.  They're hosting all of us for some early evening dancing.  And they've got lots of little food kiosks - all different cultures represented! - all around the square where you can get a bite to eat and something to drink.  We also are extremely pleased to announce that we have some very special guests from Tuna Académica Dentária de Lisboa who will give you a splendid Lisbon welcome!
